Our History

From a young age, my fascination with cats sparked a relentless curiosity. I remember wandering our home with a copy of the Book of the Cat when I was 12 years old, reading, re-reading and absorbing every detail (most of which I didn't really understand back then!). Though my parents didn't share my passion for this particular hobby, the love for cats in general, and a fascination by Maine Coons, in particular,  stayed with me for many years.. It wasn't until later, when I met my husband, that our mutual love for animals kindled a shared dream. His upbringing in the countryside, surrounded by a myriad of animals, combined with our late-night conversations admiring the splendor of Maine Coon cats, solidified our ambition to one day breed these majestic felines together.

Rooted in a profound love for Maine Coon cats, our journey as breeders began in 2020 with the arrival of our inaugural member, the brown tabby with white beauty, Hunter's Enigma Pandora.

 

Pandora holds a special place in our hearts. Hailing from our homeland Croatia, she embodies a rich lineage of meticulously bred, high pedigreed Maine Coons. She herself comes from Hunter's Enigma, a cattery known for its extensive heritage of breeding healthy, beautiful cats, renowned for its longstanding tradition of excelling in cat showing. We can't thank enough to her breeder, Petra Dimic, who has so many times provided us with invaluable advice and selflessly helped us in our early days, when very little doors were open for new, inexperienced breeders. Her support was instrumental in our journey.

In Ireland, our fortunate encounter was with Mirela Piotrkowski, an experienced and esteemed breeder from Forestside Cattery, also known for its longstanding excellence. Mirela graciously permitted us to pair our Pandora with her stud boy. And so, a new line of princesses was born and friendships were formed.

In 2021, we proudly registered our cattery with TICA (The International Cat Association), choosing a name that pays homage to our beloved Pandora and her distinguished white paws.

Nestled in Ireland's Midlands, our cattery embarked on a humble  and dedicated mission: to preserve the natural beauty, grace, and unique characteristics of these majestic felines. We strive to learn more and more every day, while we work hard to produce loving, healthy cat companions that will bring much joy and happiness to their chosen human families.
